Valentines series project #3
Hi all!! I'm just in project mode the last 2 weeks and it's great! I got my paper trey ink dies in and couldn't wait to use them! Today I used their coffee cozy die. I wish I knew about these little dies before Xmas. It's ok I'll make them for later this year then! Coffee cozies for everyone! Hehe. I made these out of felt and sewed them together. It was quick and easy. I wanted to go valentines theme since the holiday is around the corner. I thought the mustache die from time holtz would be good for a slight twist on valentines too.

Valentines series project #2
I'm so excited to get my paper trey ink dies in! I don't have a daughter but I have many friends and family that does! It was a no brainer that I get the boutique accessories dies. I think they are the cutest thing in the world and I can't wait to make them for every season and every holiday. Perfect for gift giving! Felt is so much fun to use and cheap to buy.
I made these for my nieces. It's perfect for valentines and spring time.

Valentines series project #1
I found these 1 dollar metal mailboxes at target so I thought it would be fun to alter. I went shabby chic on it and I love it! I painted the mailbox with gesso, then dried it. Second coat was a tan acrylic paint and third coat was an off white acrylic paint color. After it was dry I rubbed some vintage photo distress ink on it. Then I used modeling paste to give it some texture. I dried it with my heating tool then used distress stain on it to give it more rustic color. I sprayed some lindys stamp gang sprays on it and let the colors run and melt down the box.

Valentines card #3
This card was short and sweet to make. I used inkadinkado valentines stamp for the birds and the alley way stamp for the woodgrain background. I just adore the hearts in the wood grain! Most other wood grain stamps are so boring, this one has love written all over it! : )

Felt flowers
Why are these so much fun to make??? I'm on a felt flower making trip! I pulled out my Sizzix 3-d flower die. I ordered some paper trey ink dies but they aren't here yet so I decided to use my sizzix die. I can't believe I didn't make these sooner. They're adorable!! So easy and cute. I used my tweezers to roll the felt and hot glue gun to glue it all together. I can't wait to make some more when I get my pti dies in!!
Valentines day cards series
I'll be making valentines cards this year. I never make valentines cards but for some reason I got in the spirit for this new 2014! I hope you enjoy the series. I'm trying to use the same stamps as much as I can this year and my dies as much as possible to get some good use out of them.
My first card is this sweet tiddly inks stamp. I saw Kristina Werner watercolor it and I thought it was so sweet! I used my distress markers on them instead of the inktense pencils like her. I also incorporated the new heart balloons in on this. They are from the simon says stamp valentines stamp set for this year. The faux water colored paper I used in the background fit perfect for this card.
